Maya Jane Coles Remixes The Acid

Good news for fans of Maya Jane Coles today as electronic three piece The Acid have unveiled a remix of their new single ‘Ghost’ from the I/AM/ME boss.

Taken from their debut album Liminal, which arrived via Infectious/Mute back in July the remix is the first of a number of reworks of the cut set to be released before the year is out. It’s not the first time we’ve been impressed by Ms. Coles reimagining poppier tracks in her own tech house image and we’re sure it won’t be the last with the producer previously reworking the likes of this weeks podcast guests Little Dragon and DT favourites the XX and Bonobo.

Check out Maya’s remix of The Acid’s Ghost below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
