Mason returns with ‘Take It Down’

Share

Mason returns with another off-kilter House record. It channels NYC punk-funk fused to his own imitable dance floor stylings on the infectious-as-hell ‘Take It Down’.

Mason is renowned for bucking the trend and purposely going against the grain. He still maintains the exceptional ability to produce music acceptable for radio as well as the most respected dance floors.

‘Take It Down’ is written in collaboration with London based vocalist and writer SLANG (Wiley/Charli XCX/Giggs/Marina & The Diamonds etc) this latest release from the Dutchman is heavy on the groove and equally so on the “feels”. ‘Take It Down’ is supported by a stripped acidic remix from Dirtybird cohorts and Mason favourites Gettoblaster.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
