Marcus Intalex, aka Trevino has Died

Very Sad News! Manchester producer Marcus Intalex, aka Trevino, has passed away.

Details surrounding Marcus Kaye’s death are unclear at the moment, he was due to play at his Soul:ution party in London on May 28, but promoter Ovation posted earlier today saying the night at The Pickle Factory had been cancelled.

Born and raised in Burnley, whose real name was Marcus Kaye – co-founded the label Soul:r in 2000 with fellow producer S.T and then in 2011 he started the Trevino alias to feed his desire to get back to his roots and rekindle his 4 to the floor spirit, as regular hacienda punter, a huge fan of the belleville 3 and a keen late night reveller travelling throughout the UK to clubs and raves way before drum and bass even thought of, this is his output.

Andy C said “I can’t believe it…lost for words…a true master & legend has left us. RIP Marcus Intalex. Sending love & strength to his family” and Friction said “RIP Marcus Intalex. One of the greatest”

Our hearts go out to his family.

Enjoy a mix he did for us below back in 2013.
