Macious presents ‘Take My Light’ featuring F.A.R

Manchester based DJ/ producer Mark Crawford aka Macious releases his latest ‘Take My Light” featuring F.A.R, via Electric Dream House.
Having spent much of last year writing and producing, along with working with artists including Solomon, Camelphat, MK, Hot Since 82, Solardo, and more, ‘Take My Light” was inspired by Mark attempting to break through the negative thoughts surrounding the virus.
“It’s raining, I’m on a train to Amsterdam with a clouded mind and I’m worrying about things that have a huge impact on myself. The feeling I felt at the time was empty and confused on how to actually function with this whole covid thing that surrounded me … I wanted to release some thoughts/tension and turn them into a sound which really replicated the energy that was building up in me.”
In that moment, the single came alive, as he wrote the emotive lyrics to “Take My Light,” “take my light, you can take my soul, you can take everything I own, but you won’t take me.”
