Cornish electronic whizz, Luke Vibert, has revealed his disco-inspired doppelgänger, Kerrier District, will return this April with a full LP.
Something of a jack-of-all-trades, the alias is just one of a number Vibert works under, including Wagon Christ, Plug and the jungle-centric Amen Andrews. Entitled 4, the new album follows on from the first three Kerrier District releases, which includes two singles and an album, the latter of which dropped way back in 2004 via Rephlex.
Apparently inspired by Black Devil‘s 1978 debut EP, Disco Club, Vibert is said to be in full retro mode for 4, cooking up 12 tracks for the vinyl issue, plus two bonus tunes for CD and digital.
4 is set for release April 6th via Hypercolour.
