Love Child Launch Love Child Records
Love Child, the club night was created in 2018 by Jacob Husely (WYS!/Fabric) and Josh Caffé. The Sunday party celebrates the queer tea dance movement that originated in the 1950s and became an integral part of the LGBTQ scene in both New York and London.
Initially held at the vaulted underground rooms of fabric. Love Child aims to reclaim the dance floor for the queer community through talks, podcasts and Sunday raves at the Farringdon clubbing institution and beyond. Club culture within London depends on the freedom of self-expression and sharing love through music in any shape or form, something Love Child embodies.
They’ve announced the launch of our music label Love Child records. The first release will be from co-founder, resident DJ and Paranoid London front-man Josh Caffé, titled ‘Box of Talk’. Each release will work with a queer artist to create artwork and a percentage of the sales from each release will be donated to a different LGBTQ charity, starting with The Outside Project, a homeless and crisis shelter specifically for the LGBTQ+ community.
