Lost Desert ‘Hunter EP’ on Tale and Tone

Share

Lost Desert delivers more dreamy tunes on Tale and Tone, the latest brainchild from Lee Burridge and Hoj. The ‘Hunter EP’ (out today on T&T) delivers Lost Desert’s trademark groove, balancing the subtle and hypnotizing natures of dance music.

The two-track release is a highly emotive pairing of tunes with spacial keys and dreamy vocals. Lost Desert teams up with Amari and vocalist Adomas on the A-Side for ‘Hunter’. The title track hears the duo play on evocative piano chords layered over rough percussion to create an enchanting groove, all while melting into Adomas’ tender vocals.

Get lost on the B-Side with Innercity Playground’, a bouncy yet delicate creation conceived by Lost Desert and Mike Tohr. A stunning juxtaposition to the EP’s opening track, ‘Innercity Playground’ plays nicely with introspective pads, delicate percussion, and an almost transparent vocal sample.

Bravo Lost Desert, Amari, Adomas, and Mike Tohr – the ‘Hunter EP’ further pushes the majestic deep house sound that the Tale and Tone crew is admired for.
