Legowelt and Miles Whittaker To Remix Cosmin TRG

As regular readers of Data Transmission are aware we’re big fans of prolific Dutch producer Legowelt here at DT and harbor a similar soft spot for Romanian beatmaker and DJ Cosmin TRG. Thus when it was revealed that Legowelt would be remixing Cosmin TRG it was greeted with great excitement here in the office. The remix package follows on from Cosmin’s excellent sophomore album ‘Gordian’  which saw release via Modeselektor’s 50 weapons imprint last June and sees Dutch maverick maverick Legowelt and Miles Whittaker take on album tracks ‘Terminus Abrupt’ and ‘Noise Code’ respectively.

The release coincides with the launch of 50Weapons hotly anticipated  12” remix series with the package intended to “highlight the DJ aspects” of Cosmin’s record as Legowelt superimposes his own stylistic quirks and synth spikes whilst Miles delivers a dub techno infused version of ‘Noise Code’.

Set to drop on November 15, the release’s tracklist can be viewed below.
