Leftwing : Kody announce signing to Columbia Records

Joining an esteemed electronic roster that includes the likes of dance superstars Calvin Harris and Mark Ronson, UK house duo Leftwing : Kody have signed to Columbia Records.

Having already made a massive impact this year with crossover summer anthem ‘I Feel It’, this new deal is going to take them to the next level.

Needless to say, Leftwing : Kody are over the moon: “I feel truly blessed to have this opportunity to work with a label with such a rich history in our music culture,” says Jon Kong, AKA Leftwing of the news, which came off the back of the success of I Feel It.

“Coming from the underground, it’s a huge compliment that the A&Rs are into our music and I’m excited to spread my wings as a producer spanning multiple genres and collaborating with other artists on the roster.”

His production partner in crime Chris Adie AKA Kody is equally elated. “To fulfil an ambition I’ve had since I was young means the world to me,” he says. “I always dreamed of signing to a major label but never thought it would become a reality! To join Columbia and be a part of a roster of artists that I’ve admired for so long and to have the opportunity to work with so many talented people is both humbling and exciting.”
