KOKO Electronic has announced its AW26 season. Michael Bibi, WhoMadeWho, Francis Mercier, Marco Carola, Chris Stassy, DESIREE, Shanti Celeste and Femi Koleoso are among the names heading to Camden, where the theatre’s giant disco ball will keep London dancing through the long winter nights.

To mark KOKO’s 125th anniversary, the season launches with a new film directed by Eoin Glaister and produced by Stink UK. The tongue-in-cheek campaign is set in a fictional kebab shop, following music fans through the eras alongside the long-suffering owner who serves them. Anyone watching closely might also catch DJ Boring in a cameo as a punk rocker.

Ahead of the announcement, cryptic menu-style flyposters appeared across London, each carrying a mystery mobile number. Calling it revealed clues about which artists were on their way to Camden. After several days of teasing out the ingredients, the full order has now been served.

The programme brings together house and techno DJs, cult selectors, live electronic acts and a number of London’s dancefloor communities, with a few extras away from the decks. As in previous seasons, the DJ performs in the round from the centre of the Victorian theatre, with the crowd gathered around them across multiple levels. Backstage, The House of KOKO offers a set of smaller, more intimate spaces. Here, artists can play, make music and host lock-ins in the new Penthouse recording studio, as well as curate supper clubs and talks.

DESIREE, Benji B and Charisse C open the season in the Theatre on 26th September. October then starts with Chicago house pioneer Green Velvet, joined by Ruze and Fifi Forte, on 2nd October. Over the following weeks, Oscar Mbo, Swimming Paul and Hernán Cattáneo feature in a wide-ranging run of selectors. Michael Bibi then makes his Theatre debut on 17th October.

On 24th October, Shanti Celeste leads a full takeover across both the Theatre and The House of KOKO. She plays the main room with Leon Vynehall and Danielle, while Peach Discs hosts Room 2. Backstage, Milly On Air presents a special podcast talk show and Saffron runs a workshop with Daisy Moon. Meanwhile, Black Artist Database (B.A.D) hosts free music production masterclasses with NIKS, rRoxymore and Mason Maynard. Tickets for The House of KOKO activity will be allocated by ballot.

In November, Francis Mercier hosts a three-night Theatre takeover from 20th to 22nd November. His residency also moves off the dancefloor, with Mercier’s own Soley FC taking on KOKO FC in a football match in Hackney Wick. Details on tickets to watch the match are still to come.

WhoMadeWho follow with a full weekender on 27th and 28th November. The Danish trio bring their live show to The Theatre on the first night, then return for a hybrid DJ set on the second. Further activations covering fashion, food and intimate live showcases are also planned backstage at The House of KOKO.

December begins with the return of Chris Stassy on 4th December. Later in the month, on 20th December, Ezra Collective drummer Femi Koleoso brings Situation Dance back to KOKO for a community-led Christmas party. With tickets priced at free or £5, the night stays accessible and offers an alternative to the usual festive blowout.

A run of special shows then carries the venue through Christmas and New Year. Marco Carola plays two nights, first with Sosa on Boxing Day and again on 27th December. On New Year’s Eve, Artwork leads a line-up with Make A Dance, David Bay, Arnie Wrong and Sue Veneers, bringing his party-first approach to the final dancefloor of 2026.

There’s little time to recover. On New Year’s Day, Z UNCUT takes over for a special daytime session, before East End Dubs and Ryan Nicholls step in that evening to start 2027.

The AW26 programme lands during KOKO’s 125th anniversary year. The venue first opened as the Camden Theatre in 1900 and relaunched in 2022 following a £70 million transformation. With a capacity of 1,500, it brings the energy of a club into a historic theatre setting.

KOKO Electronic’s AW26 season runs from 26th September 2026 to 1st January 2027. Full listings are available on the KOKO website.
