Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records turns 25

Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records, Inc. is celebrating a whopping 25 years in the business this year.

In celebration of this milestone they have put together 25 projects which will run over the next twelve months, including an exclusive and intimate shows with Kerri Chandler playing under his ‘Matrix’ alias, remastered Madhouse vinyl re-issues starting with their very first release, a number of one off events and label showcases, all leading up to a special album which will include previously unreleased music and Kerri Chandler remixes from some of the underground’s most respected artists.

Madhouse Records is known for being an integral part of New Jersey’s underground house scene, being home to a large number of Kerri’s records alongside other celebrated artists, such as Dennis Ferrer, Roy Ayers and Jerome Sydenham who have all helped to cement Madhouse in house music history.

They also have a brand new various artists compilation, Madhouse:Summer (out early July) and some new Limited merchandise celebrating Madhouse Records, Kerri Chandler and generally all things house coming in the summer months.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
