Juany Bravo returns to Roger Sanchez’s Stealth Records

Share

After a stand out 2019, Juany Bravo returns to Roger Sanchez’s Stealth Records.

Since Bravo’s first EP on the Stealth imprint in 2018, he’s seen releases with Toolroom Records, Rawsome Records, and a release on the elrow Summer VA, as well as on Stealth’s Rituals Vol. 1 compilation in late July. The up-and-coming producer also had a magnificent 2019 in terms of gigs, having been able to bring his unique sound to nine different countries, and playing at Elrow twice.

Juany’s new EP, ‘Puro Latino’, fully embodies the producer’s style both in the studio and on the decks. A mix of Latin sounds and grooves, over chunky, rolling bass lines, topped off with exquisite percussion elements that create an atmosphere reminiscent of a hot tropical night.

Our premiere “Menea”, Bravo has teamed up with LA-based producer Teig, to create a peak-time, floor-shaking, Latin House groover that’s set to make some serious noise all through the summer. Taking their cues from the old-school, 90s Latin House vibes, the producers took a classic sample and were able to inject new life into with a monstrous bassline, and an infectious drum section.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
