Jamie XX & Young Turks Open NYC Store

Someone has been busy. Following on from news that he had written the score for a new contemporary ballet called ‘Trees Of Codes‘ for this year’s Manchester International Festival and the arrival of his hotly anticipated debut album In Colour, DT favourite Jamie XX has now teamed up with Young Turks to open a pop-up store in New York City.

Opening August 16th at at 312 Bowery in Manhattan, the store will stock a “range of Jamie xx and Young Turks merchandise not found anywhere else” including a selection of signed albums, white label vinyls, cassettes and a collection of records specially assembled by local DJs Tim Sweeney, Mike Simonetti and Ethan Silverman. With the store also set to house a series of events this week we’d suggest that New Yorker’s follow the Young Turks via their social media pages to make sure they don’t miss out as the lineups and schedules are announced.
