It’s just one of those things we guess. You wait ages for something – we’re really trying to avoid the bus cliché here so lets say girlfriend/boyfriends/things being your size and on sale – and then a whole host come along one after the other. Well that’s how we feel about Jackmaster mixes at the moment. Not that we’re complaining as an extra set of selections from the Numbers  boss for us to wrap our ears around can only be a good thing.

The latest mix to grace our soundsystem from the Scot is the two hour 2014 edition of his ‘Mastermix’ series which in keeping with previous incarnations explores a broad range of the electronic spectrum with everything from hard hitting motor city techno to embryonic disco cuts getting an airing. Check out his mix below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
