In:Motion series announces New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day parties



The current In:Motion series in Bristol has been doing the business and they’ve just revealed the third wave of parties for the season as well as the lineups for New Year’s Eve and it’s New Year’s Day closing party.

Seeing out 2018 with the most exciting names in bass music, the New Year’s Eve party welcomes the unstoppable Hannah Wants who is flanked by Bristol favourite Redlight, Todd Edwards, Madam X, Klose One and more at Motion, while Sub Focus [DJ Set], TC b2b Annix, Jungle Warriors, Circuits (Kasra x Insideinfo), Unglued and more lockdown The Marble Factory.

New Year’s Day the party goes again on Tuesday 1st January for the series closing party, this boasts some of the biggest house and techno DJs in the world from 2pm-2am across four rooms including the trailblazing The Black Madonna, Palms Trax, Jayda G, Rush Hour captain Hunee and Motion regular Ellie Stokes, with Call Super, the rapidly rising Saoirse, Timedance titan Batu, Em Williams and Ellis Roberts offering a tantalising alternative within the walls of The Marble Factory. Mella Dee takes on headlining duties in the Tunnel, it’s the perfect way to bid farewell to a jaw-dropping series that featured 35 stunning parties over 13 weeks.

Across the rest of the parties announced their is some huge acts heading once more to Bristol including Flying Lotus, IGLOOGHOST, Lapalux, Friendly Fires, Paranoid London, Alex Metric, Ten Ven, Denis Sulta, Claptone & The Masquerade, Booka Shade, Illyus & Barrientos, David Penn, Pirupa, Maceo Plex, Danny Daze, Alex Virgo, Skream, Enzo Siragusa, Archie Hamilton and Seb Zito,  Rich NXT, Rossko and a 39 piece orchestra breathe new life into classic songs for Kraftwerk Re:Werk alongside Max Cooper [Live AV Set].

After a formidable run of shows, it’s a fitting curtain closer to the biggest In:Motion series yet.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
