Illyus & Barrientos mix Toolroom’s ‘Best Of 2018’

As the year gradually comes to an end, we start to reflect on the year, and Toolroom Records have done exactly that in their upcoming ‘Best of 2018’ Compilation.

This year has been a big year for Toolroom Records as they turned 15 years old, 2018 has also marked some serious musical milestones for the label. One of the stand-out house record of the year, Weiss’ ‘Feel My Needs’ dominated the summer, CamelPhat’s enormous remix of Fatboy Slim’s seminal ‘Right Here, Right Now’ and the 30th anniversary of the Summer of Love, they re-released a true House music anthem in Sterling Void’s ‘It’s Alright.’ (check our premiere here) 

Toolroom also welcomed a new host of acts to the label including Wheats, Wh0, Kured and Siege all bursting onto the scene, and releases from the likes of Eli Brown, Dosem, Danny Howard, ATFC and Leftwing:Kody.

Illyus & Barrientos have been handed over the mixing rings of the label’s hallowed ‘Best of 2018’. Over two mixes, House & Tech House they bring 34 of the biggest records from the year, bringing passion, energy and bundles of enthusiasm that they are known for.
