Universal Music, Warner Music and Sony are some of the major labels planning to offer to HMV a helping-hand giving by retailer generous credit terms and cutting the prices of it’s CDs/DVDs as part of a package aimed to help save the company. This news also comes at a time when re-structuring specialist Hilco, who bought out HMV Canada in 2011 has appeared as being the front-runner to take over the company.
