Hifi Sean & Shalvoy drop their ‘Slipped Discs Vol.2’

Share

Hifi Sean & Shalvoy are with the second installment in their Slipped Discs series on Midnight Riot.

Having both met in NYC 90’s clubland, Hifi & Shalvoy had an obsession with disco, Sound Factory, Jackie 60’s, Save the Robots , sneakers and Manhattan cable channel TV resulting in the fabulous new Slipped Discs II.

Its been some year for Hifi Sean too. A top forty hit & a USA billboard top 5 club chart placing with the legendary Crystal Waters, a hectic DJ & remix schedule to die for and now this – Slipped Discs Volume 2 with everybodys favourite go to singer Andre Espeut.

A fierce remake of Connie Case’s ‘Get Down’, Hifi & fellow studio conspirator Shalvoy have delivered deadly beats over a lucid analogue bass synth teasing us relentlessly with shimmering keyboard stabs & intense breakdowns so infectious all the jocks have been smashing it this summer.

We have Exclusive Premiere of their video today, it’s pretty funny – a video homage to 90’s NYC Public Access TV from our VHS collection, check it out below and grab a copy from here.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
