Guy Gerber Starts Rumours…

As electronica fans are well aware 2013 was a massive year for Guy Gerber. As an artist who has long been about rewarding his fans after entertaining the masses we expected big things from his nights at Pacha which were duly delivered as his residency the Wisdom Of The Glove included magicians, shadow puppeteers and a fortune telling machine! All surrounding a centrifugal glove-shaped force in the shape of a £150,000 single glove.

Not content with such a lavish residency and extensive set of global tour dates over the summer and beyond in addition to the Israeli techno don compiling a free album in the form of ‘Who’s Stalking Who,’ with driving muscular drum beats and bubbling bass lines firmly being the order of the day he has now started 2014 in similarly stellar form with the announcement of details of the inaugural release of his new label Rumours.

Rumours will also see the Supplemental Facts boss play some special party dates around the world as part of the new label as being an event concept, so too will Rumours mark the launch of the new imprint for the melodic house and techno expert.

The first release will be an EP with another one of 2013’s standout performers and respected member of the Innervisions crew, Dixon.  The EP entitled ‘No Distance’ will come complete with a remix from Lake People and is sure to be the start of another great venture for this pioneering electronic talent. Sounds good to us Guy!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
