Gary Burrows lands on ‘Respekt Rebels’ Vol 3.

After a huge reaction to Vol.2, ‘Respekt Rebels’ on Spektre‘s Respekt Recordings imprint is back with its 3rd instalment.

Gary Burrows is a rising star of the UK techno scene. Hailing from Birmingham, he is firmly establishing a name for himself with his unique, rave-infused, uncompromising sound.

Gary’s influences from the harder side of Techno and Old Skool hardcore are clear to hear. Having grown up with old rave tapes being left around the house by his brother and sister, the seed was sown for Gary’s addiction to all kinds of dance music.
His career has been intertwined with Respekt recordings from the get-go, with the label putting out his debut release (on their new talent incubator, the Prospekt series), which was met with widespread acclaim and led to two subsequent single releases: “All Your Dreams” and “Burning” as well as several high profile remixes.

This salvo of quality, instantly identifiable releases established Gary as a forerunner in the UK techno scene’s rave renaissance, garnering support from artists such as Carl Cox, Alan Fitzpatrick, Spektre, Pan-Pot, Richie Hawtin, Spartaque, Fatima Hajji and many more. With these tracks as a calling card, Gary has also gone on to take his sound to the dancefloor, appearing on bills across the UK and beyond.

His latest outing on his home label comes as the lead track on the third instalment of Respekt’s “Respekt Rebels” series, where friends of the label new and old are encouraged to push the boundaries and do what they do without limitations. “Crazy Out There” follows this ethos perfectly, with a fearless pace, bold sound selections and a non-stop arrangement. The creepy vocal sample is perfectly paired with ripping synths, sinister arpeggios and a rough drum track.

The EP will be released for streaming and download through Respekt Recordings on 11/06, featuring “Crazy Out There” alongside tracks from Tom Hutt, Mac n Dan, Acid Enigma and Rhys Maxwell.
