Sometimes one just isn’t enough. Just ask Charlie Sheen. Thus it’s with great delight that we’re able to present you with a second offering from fast rising Belfast based DJ and producer Chris Hanna who we think you’ll agree made quite a splash when he served up a Spotlight Mix of serious distinction for us earlier in the year.
Having cut his teeth on the Belfast circuit, including a lengthy residency at the city’s Shine club, Chris has gradually extended his reach across the UK. With a handful of tracks out via Made Fresh Daily and Extended Play, Chris is now ramping up his production game with his last effort, the four track ‘Psiren’ EP for Ejeca’s Exploris imprint particularly impressing. So, having showcased his talents as a DJ, we thought it was about time we shone a light on his exploits in the studio with a torrid tale of file corruption leading to him deciding to give away ‘Pump For Me’ as a free download.
“This is actually a track I was making as part of an EP with no specific label in mind.” He explains. “Unfortunately the project file became corrupt and I could no longer work with it, and I lost 2 other tracks that were supposed to appear alongside it. The only remaining file was this 320. So perfect for a giveaway really!”
We couldn’t agree more Chris. Nab your copy of ‘Pump For Me’ below.
