Fred P Launches New Compilation Series

More exciting compilation news as DT favourite Fred P has revealed he will be launching a new compilation series called “Selected” via his Soul People Music sub-label Boards. Keeping with the aesthetic of SPM yet different from Earth Tones, Fred’s yearly compilation series, Selected promises to focus purely on the vibration and mood of who’s compiling that given project. Thus Fred naturally seeks to take us on a journey with deep spacey and etheric grooves when the opening edition lands at the end of January with the motivation behind the series probably best explained in his own words;

“In the early days it was difficult to afford more than one or two records. I would buy compilations because the value was greater and I was exposed to artist that I might not have known about otherwise .When I think of compilations I think of mix the vibe, soul of science, trust the dj and of course dj kicks. I learned a great deal from these series over the years and developed my own ideas based on what I love to hear thus Selected was born.”

Sounds good to us Fred!
