We don’t know what they are putting in the water Down Under at the moment but we’d like to know where we could get some, as Australia seems to be exporting more and more high quality music from across the electronic spectrum.
At the forefront of the Aussie invasion has been DJ and producer Flume who grabbed our attention with a series of strong releases on highly regarded imprint Future Classic. Seemingly destined for the big stage the young the young the man from Sydney then revealed that he would undertaking two separate collaborative projects alongside industry heavyweights Skrillex and Major Lazer to considerable hype.
Now following on from an extensive touring schedule that included a stop at Coachella Flume has shared a fresh remix of another fast rising antipodean with a rework of Lorde’s ‘Tennis Court’. Revealed on his Facebook account this morning, the young Aussie is clearly pleased with his handiwork stating “I promised I’d do a remix for Ella… Couldn’t be happier with how (it) turned out.” After giving it a quick listen we can see why.
