Friday Fox bosses, Christian B and Lavvy Levan, have recruited South African teen talent Rudi Botha for their label’s latest EP.

Title track ‘Blue’ offers a “catchy orchestral hook” from the producer, before the label heads add their own enhancements, including a vocal line from Levan himself. Elsewhere Botha further explores the jazzier, minimal side of house music; a perfect combo as groove slowly becomes the flavour of the month once again amongst dance enthusiasts. With support from the likes of Horse Meat Disco’s Severino, Souldynamic and State Unknown, the EP is already shaping up to be one of the year’s last essential releases.

To celebrate the release, Friday Fox have teamed up with re-creation.london, a new art gallery in Borough, for an EP launch/exhibition double whammy on Friday 28th November. Entitled The History Of House, the one off exhibition celebrates the wonderful world of house music, fitting perfectly with the Friday Fox ethos. Head over to our Competitions Page for a chance to win VIP tickets to the event and a bundle of goodies!

You can get your hands on Rudi Botha’s Blue EP from November 30th; in the meantime, sit back and enjoy our exclusive premiere of Blue (Christian B & Lavvy Levan Rebuild).

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
