Evan Duthie lands on Glasgow Underground with ‘You Got Lucky’

Share

Evan Duthie is only 19 yet he has already achieved some major milestones in dance music that other producers wait years, even decades for. Pete Tong plays – tick; Had his records supported by A-list DJs – tick. Played a packed gig at one of London’s finest underground parties – tick. Shared the bill with Annie Mac, Melé, Monki, Redlight, Green Velvet, John Digweed – tick.

So Glasgow Underground is very happy to release his latest work on the label.  ”You Got Lucky” is a prime slice of Iberican tech-house that sits shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Nic Fanciulli or Chus & Ceballos.  It has also been given the Pete Tong seal of approval. Twice. While it was unsigned. So there are no other DJ responses to share with you, this has gone straight from the laptop to the store, via Radio 1, ASAP!

Check it out below and grab it here.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
