Enoo Napa heads to Manchester

Drums Radio has announced they are curating a new night in Manchester. Launching this Friday 6th September at ‘Off The Square’, Sonictone brings the best of Deep Tribal Afro House to the city.

Making his Manchester debut with the amazing South African DJ/ producer Enoo Napa; whose sound broke through with his Opaque remix of Jackie Queens Conqueror. Enoo is a self-taught producer from the township of Umlazi, Durban in KwaZulu Natal. After taking up production in 2013, his remix of Jackie Queen’s “Conqueror”, an ambient, dark afro sound with a hint of techy synths, caught the attention of Black Coffee in early 2015.

Now one of the most prolific young house music producers in South Africa, Enoo Napa has remixed for Black Coffee, N’dinga Gaba, Mi Casa, Oscar P, King Sfiso, DJ Merlon and continues to put out heavy, raw afro, electronic-infused cuts on various well recognised international labels; Iklwa Brothers Music, MoBlack, Offering Recordings, Aluku Records, Arrecha Records, DM. Recordings and many others.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
