Electric Paradise lands at the Milton Keynes National Bowl on Saturday 8 August, and it is not playing small. This is Electric Paradise in full technicolour. A brand-new open-air festival built for serious feel-good business. Disco. Funk. Soul. House. All under one sky. All in one legendary amphitheatre.
Electric Paradise takes over one of the UK’s most iconic outdoor arenas and flips it into a 50,000-strong celebration of groove. The Bowl’s natural slopes become a dancefloor. The sound system does the heavy lifting. The staging goes big. Proper big. Promoted by JBM Music, this first edition sets the tone for what is clearly a long-term play. Electric Paradise is not a one-off. It is a statement.
The Main Stage reads like a family tree of rhythm. Grace Jones brings the edge. Candi Staton delivers the soul. UB40 bring the singalong sway. Kool & The Gang bring pure funk pressure. Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge seal it with heritage hooks.
Over at the Big Love Stage, the energy stays sky-high. Cameo. Earth, Wind & Fire by Al McKay. Shalamar. Jocelyn Brown. Heather Small. Wall-to-wall vocals. Hands-in-the-air moments. Zero standing still.
The Glitterbox Stage brings the house sermon. Armand Van Helden. Dimitri from Paris. Roger Sanchez. Fat Tony. Barbara Tucker. Julie McKnight. Proper four-to-the-floor bounce with sparkle and bite. Disco loops. Rolling basslines. That late-night terrace energy, even in open daylight.
Fool’s Paradise digs into timeless house flavours. Mark Knight and Todd Terry bring the jack. Dave Lee and Michael Gray keep it soulful. Norman Jay delivers selector excellence. Fleetmac Wood add curveballs.
Clockwork Orange taps into pure heritage with head honchos Andy Manston and Danny Clockwork at the controls, along with Graeme Park. Alison Limerick, K Klass and Baby D reload the classics. It is terrace nostalgia with modern muscle.
Then there’s the stage we’re most excited for, for obvious reasons! The Data Transmission / Disco Infiltrators stage. Ron Mexico. Hobbs. Carlos Van D. Lizzie Curious. Slick Pete Flash. Oh! L’Amour. The Goddess Music. Lisa Jane. This one hits different. Milton Keynes is our home. Seeing our name on that poster, alongside crews and artists we’ve respected for decades, means everything.
Expect proper disco heat. House with soul. Selectors who know how to build a floor and hold it. No gimmicks. Just music that works when the sun’s still high and when it dips behind the Bowl.
The production is set to be huge. Open air, hands in the air, disco ball energy over MK. This will be one of those days where you bring your crew and stay till the last record.
Electric Paradise is built for the heads who grew up on vinyl and the new-school crowd who stream everything. One rhythm. One field. One massive singalong.
