Rather than slow down the duo have decided to up the ante with the formation of their own label 17 Steps which will be inaugurated with their own July 14 release entitled ‘Love Taking Over’. Billed as taking influence from “British rave aesthetics” we’ve high hopes for the imprint for the coming summer and beyond.
Speaking on the launch of the new imprint Dusky or Nick Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell as their friends and family know them had the following to say: “Over the last few years our identity as artists has continued to grow and crystallise into something we never envisaged possible. The introduction of 17 Steps feels like a natural phase in our development, and a logical move that enables us to take more control of our musical identity and provide a platform for music by other artists that we believe in.”
