DRS ‘The Man Who Fell To Earth’ Live Tour has kicked off

Share

One of Drum & Bass’ most adored MC’s began his journey as ‘The Man Who Fell To Earth’ last week in Leeds. DRS is treating us to an insight into his musical genius, alongside an irresistible lineup including the much anticipated live orchestra. The tour started in Leeds on the 31st March with the remarkable team of DRS and 8 Gold Rings launching into the UK! Following that the team went to London on 1st April.

DRS lands in Bristol on the 14th April showcasing his tour in collaboration with the incredible 8 piece live orchestra. Alternate hosts the tour which will be held at Lost Horizon, who has seen some of the best of the music scene grace their stage.

Coming in hot on the heels of the album ‘Light Language’ which was recognised by Mixmag as one of 2021’s albums of the year, the DRS live tour will treat us to an outstanding range of tunes from over the years, with over a quarter of a century of music under his belt, it is safe to expect an extraordinary journey of old and new.

Supported by the likes of Dogger, Evabee and more to be announced DRS is joined by the delectable 8 Gold Rings, an astonishing 8 piece live orchestra who has joined DRS before on tracks such as ‘The View’ and ‘Soul Remembers’ and on numerous live performances.

The enigmatic Manchurian is widely recognised as an infamous figure within the underground music scene, holding a special place in our Drum & Bass hearts. His unmissable tones and mouth-watering collaborations make him a force to be reckoned with; his flow and style are instantly recognisable and his indent into the genre is notorious.

We can’t wait to see his incredible stage presence and performance once again, relishing in the ability to finally dance with freedom following the hiatus of events over the past couple of years. DRS we are so ready for you to fall to Bristol’s earth, and we welcome you!

DRS: “The Bristol show is the icing on the cake – Bristol is the heart of DnB in the UK”
