Dour Festival announce First Acts for 2018



The mammoth Dour Festival, which takes place from 11th-15th July in Plaine de la Machine à Feu, Dour, Belgium have announced their first acts for 2018.

Starting with Soulwax. The brothers Dewaele, the pride of Belgium since the 90’s regarding rock and electro. De duo from Gent is coming back to Dour for the first time since 1996 and they are presenting us their latest album From Deewee.

Add to this Beth Ditto, Ben UFO, Amelie Lens, Paul Kalkbrenner, The Chemical Brothers, Dave Clarke, Noisia, Pan-Pot, Boys Noize, Modeselektor DJ set, Recondite, Rødhåd, Daphni, Mount Kimbie, Floating Points (solo and live), Fatima Yamaha, Ross From Friends, Macky Gee, Cashmere Cat, Polo&Pan and the duo Talaboman – a collaboration between John Talabot and Axel Boman.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
