In what at first seemed to us to be an incredibly unlikely partnership bass impresario Skrillex and electro/techno whizz-kid Boys Noize announced themselves as the producers behind collaborative project Dog Blood around this time last year.  Their new EP under the moniker, ‘Middle Finger Pt. 2’ was leaked online prematurely yesterday and now the pairing have shared the work via their soundcloud page.

Shared yesterday on twitter by Skillex’s label OSWLA, the EP contains 3 new cuts with 2 remixes of the title track ‘Middle Finger Pt. 2’. Expected to drop on August 20th  it is the first work by the pairing as Dog Blood since incepting the partnership last year and continues the eclectic theme of their original productions together, drawing influence from across the musical spectrum with bass, rave and electro dominating their material. With remixes from the M Machine and Millions Like Us we’re sure both fans of Boys Noize and Skrillex will enjoy the new EP which carries the trademark abrasive sounds in the various genres the two inhabit.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
