Wow. What a year 2013 was in the UK for electronic music duo Disclosure. After riding high at number one in the album charts with their critically acclaimed album ‘Settle’ and earning rave reviews from their fans for a series of live performances at festivals last summer and beyond it seems that south London pairing can do no wrong at the moment and have started 2014 with similar stellar form notching up no less than 4 nominations at this years Brit Awards.

Following the news of their Brit Award nominations the pairing have now shared the video to their single ‘Grab Her’ which follows around a series of office workers trying to go about their daily business whilst being beset by anti-gravity issues and bizarrely behaving colleagues before ending in equally strange fashion with a urine-soaked toilet scene and a thwarted handshake. Confused? You will be and perhaps that’s part of their strategy with this video to encourage multiple viewings as much as listens.

The video follows on from the duo’s last visual treatment of ‘Help Me Lose My Mind’ which courted controversy by allegedly “glamorizing drugs” which was pulled down within a few hours and saw the boys have to address the matter in a series of interviews.

Check out the video for ‘Grab Her’ below:

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
