Long running Dutch imprint Delsin is finally approaching their 100th  release, unless you want to be pedantic and count their reissues but for all intents and purposes the label are reaching treble figures for the first time and to mark the occasion have revealed a series of plans to celebrate the landmark release.

5 various artist EP’s will be released to celebrate issuing the 100DSR catalogue number each to be released separately in addition to being compiled into a special vinyl boxset and CD containing all released tracks.

Label founder and boss Marsel Delsin explains the concept behind the set of new releases stating “With this compilation I tried to go back to the core of Delsin [and] showcase more soulful but still raw techno sounds from a selection of key artists who best represent the label. The tracks are all individual offerings but are tied together with the common themes of the label, and as a compilation will paint a nice overall picture.”

But who are these artists that Mr. Delsin himself has earmarked to showcase the “core’ of his imprint? Well the first EP is set to arrive this  month on the 24th of June and will feature efforts from Gerry Read, Claro Intelecto and Unbroken Dub before further releases are sporadically distributed over the rest of the year featuring the sounds of Redshape, Sawlin, Delta Funktionen, John Beltran and Conforce amongst many others.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
