Debut Transmission: Syron – All I Need (6th Borough Project Remix)

We don’t know about you but there aren’t many things we need here at DT. As long as we’re fed, watered and have access to good tunes we’re pretty much good to go. Thus we’re interested to find out just what it was Fame Music signed songstress Syron was referring to with her song title ‘All I Need’  and after careful consideration think we’ve solved the mystery. What she needed was a remix from DT favourite 6th Borough Project, which lo and behold the pairing have only gone and delivered.

For the uninitiated 6th Borough Project consists of scene luminaries Craig Smith and The Revenge who take things deeper with this remix, wheeling and reeling with woozy chords and rolling, chugging beats to offer up a consummate lesson in restraint and sonic subtlety. A fresh take on a song that was already making plenty of waves (we’ve been tipping the original to soundtrack the years sunnier months for a while) we’re sure you’ll be hearing plenty more of Syron in the near future.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
