Debut Transmission: Ost & Kjex – Für Gurrik
In 2004, Ost & Kjex burst onto the scene with their debut album Some, But Not All Cheese, Comes From The Moon (which appropriately and still unbelievably was made from the sounds of cheese and biscuits). Now the Norwegian duo have announced their return to DIYnamic for their third studio album, Freedom Wig.
Toning down the gimmickry and instead fine-tuning the quarter-folk, quarter-indie, quarter-house, quarter-mad aesthetic they’ve become known and loved for, the pair have found the perfect balance between pop and electronica. Don’t just take our word for it though, check out our Debut Transmission from the Norsemen, ‘Für Gurrik’ below.
