Debut Transmission: HNQO – The Rain
At Data Transmission, we know it’s important to look beyond our borders for new talent which is why we leave no stone unturned or corner of the earth unexplored as we scour the globe in search of hot new talent. Heading across the Atlantic to Brazil, there’s a bubbling dance culture ripe for picking and knew a fair while ago that we’d found just what we’re looking for in the form of Curitiba producer HNQO.
Having first tipped the Brazilian when he was plain oil’ Henrique, to say we’ve been pleased to watch his development into one of the contemporary house scene’s brightest stars would be something of an understatement. Thus, it’s out great pleasure to welcome him back into the DT fold to serve up today’s Debut Transmission. Continuing the rich run of form that has seen him score hits for Beef and Hot Creations, The Rain EP sees him return to home label Warung to deliver a two track house workout guaranteed to get your blood pumping and feet stomping.
Set to arrive December 2nd, the title track sees HNQO invite slam poet The LazarusMan to sprinkle some of his spoken word magic over proceedings with a particularly poignant description of an inbound storm. Check it out below.
