This year it seems it has been another day, another set of fresh tracks from Deadmau5. It’s been quite a 2013 for the producer after a very public falling out with U.S based EDM powerhouse Ultra Records and various Twitter beefs Deadmau5 thanked fans for their continued support with a free download entitled ‘Suckfest9001’ and since then embarked upon a particularly prolific period in the studio uploading regularly uploading new material for his fans to check out on his SoundCloud page.

The Canadian, who has been vociferous in his criticism of EDM and the marketing culture behind the genre has now revealed that his next album has indeed been completed although no firm release date has yet been set.

Making the announcement via Reddit (Twitter is so 2000 and late apparently) the Canadian motormouth has ratcheted up excitement ahead of the seemingly not too distant release. Until then check out Joel’s latest upload to Soundcloud page and see if you can glean any insight into what the album will sound like below!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
