You may remember us getting all excited earlier in the year for Berghain resident and Berlin favorite Marcel Fengler’s debut album Fokus as he dropped his first major release on us since 2011 when he compiled an excellent mix for the Berghain 05 compilation. The year was undoubtedly a good one musically for Herr Fengler with a collaborative team up with Efdemin under their joined moniker of  DIN to score a ballet for the Berghain and the Berlin State Ballet project Masse also undertaken in 2013 .

Now we’re pleased to reveal  that we see Ostgut Ton’s other Marcel’s  debut LP will be being revisited in a series of all star reimxes from some of techno’s most illustrious names with four tracks from Fokus  get reworked for Ostgut Ton‘s first release of 2014. The Baron himself Dave Clarke will be stepping up to rework “Sky Pushing,” Shed will tackle “Jaz” under his The Traveller alias whilst Aubrey takes on the atmospheric “Trespass” and Robert Witschakowsk, AKA The Exaltics, will remix “King Of Psi.”

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
