Is there  a day that passes by wherein seminal French robotic duo Daft Punk don’t announce some sort of news these days? From remixes to action figures it appears that the pairing aren’t wasting a second of their comeback as they enjoy a spotlight brighter than ever before. The latest addition to their bulging news folder for 2013 is the unveiling of plans for a new deluxe box set edition of ‘Random Access Memories’  which was revealed after an attendee at New York’s Comic Con received a ‘Golden Ticket’ for the yet to be produced box set.

The news was seemingly confirmed by the fans tweet being retweeted by the pairings label Columbia Records with the normally reliable Daft House  suggesting this new deluxe edition will have a December 31 release date. Check out the fans picture of the golden ticket below.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
