Hype generating French duo Daft Punk did a little something special for their Japanese fans with their version of new album Random Access Memories including an added a bonus, unreleased track the release entitled “Horizon.” With a kind of Pink Floyd feel to it we can’t help but wonder why the robotic pairing didn’t see fit to add this cinematic number to RAM’s global release?

Another question we’d like to ask is with RAM set to undergo a series of remixes including one from the Punks themselves, will Horizon make the grade for a rework on any remix album the twosome might release?

Check out Horizon below

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
