Cyprusian debuts on Throne Room with ‘Hell Froze’

Share

Leeds based producer Cyprusian makes his debut on the Throne Room imprint with a well-rounded package of timeless techno, titled ‘Hell Froze’ EP.

As the name suggests, his Meditteranean roots have had a conducive factor in his musical inclination. Musically interested from a young age, outside of the DJ booth, he has multi-instrument experience – including electric, bass and acoustic guitars as well as drums and even supplying vocals.

Leaning more towards the realms of melodic House and Techno, Cyprusian cites inspiration from artists like ARTBAT, Tale of Us, Sam Paganini and Alan Fitzpatrick. His sonic palate varies from enraptured after-hours Deep House through to harder hitting, emotive peak time Techno tracks.

The talented artist has recently burst onto the scene with iconic releases on labels such as Black Snake Recordings and Mavic Music, to name a few. We lead the release with the show stopper track ‘Hell Froze’, capturing an intelligently progressive vibe whilst still maintaining that full techno flavour we all know and love.

We premiere the lead track ‘Hell Froze’ on NUDE Techno today, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
