CutWires announces his ‘My Island’ EP on House of Hustle

Share

Time for House of Hustle‘s first release in February where they’ll be heading to the island of CutWires in his ‘My Island’ EP.

London based CutWires has been circling the scene like a hungry vulture since 2012.  Weaving between, Electro, Tech House, House and Techno  there’s often something tongue in cheek poking out of the darkness of his productions.

He has been a regular fixture on Herve’s legendary Cheap Thrills label as well as releasing chunky cuts on Perfect driver, Moody Recordings, Youth Control, 1980 and many more.  With past support from Nemone (BBC 6 Music), Annie Mac, Laurent Garnier, Sander Kleinenberg, Martin Solveig, Anna Lunoe, AC Slater, The Aston Shuffle, Tommy Trash, Tensnake, Shiba San, Robbie Rivera, Treasure Fingers, Severino Panzetta, amongst others, the future is looking bright.

Both tunes carry a solid club vibe with the lead track ‘My Island’ being one of those that you just know will give you that sweet reaction on the dancefloor due to its strong vocal hook and general progression. The second tune, ‘The Touch’, slaps in its own way with a slightly different vibe, combining a strong bass game with a sort of good vibe theme melodic arrangement, making it one of those quite specials ones. We are really happy to welcome CutWires to our family and as always, make sure that you support the artist.

We premiere the lead track ‘My Island’ on Data Transmission today, check it out below and grab it here.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
