Clockwork To Release Album

Life and Death has already made quite a name for itself in a very short period of time. Its early output has seen it gain an early reputation for quality releases with efforts from Thugfucker, DJ Tennis and Tale of Us all winning plaudits within the scene. They now follow this up with Italian duo Clockwork releasing  the first feature length album on the imprint with the story led concept piece B.O.A.T.S. (Based On A True Story).

It’s a rare success in the often muddled field of concept albums and actually succeeds in its aim of story telling throughout the journey through the LP. Couple this with their trademarkedly eclectic style and Clockwork and Life and Death have delivered a seriously grown-up and powerful take on techno.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
