Calvin Harris Lashes Out At Heckler

It’s not all champagne and plaudits being an international DJ and producer as Calvin Harris found out during a recent performance in Miami in which the hit-maker was heckled by a woman in the crowd. The richest DJ in the world according to reputable wealth attributing outlet Forbes and winner of the prestigious Ivor Novello songwriting award it appears that despite even that level of success that Calvin isn’t immune to the barbed words of a heckler.

The story starts when a lady in the crowd heckles Calvin during his playing of his song ‘Feel So Close’ only for the Scot to stop the music, jump on the microphone and invite the outspoken crowd member to elaborate on her criticism in which the heckler then asked Calvin to play “something original” to which he angrily responded “That tune was an original by me, it’s my song. Why do you come to a fucking Calvin Harris show where Calvin Harris is DJing and don’t want to hear a fucking Calvin Harris record, you dumb fucking bitch.”

The lady was then promptly escorted from the club and Calvin continued to play his set before flying out for a series of well received shows in Calgary and Las Vegas for his Hakkasan residency. We imagine it’ll be the last time Calvin invites a critic onto the mic during a set…
