We’ve always had a soft spot for Blawan here at Data Transmission. A shining example of all that’s good about contemporary British techno – both as a solo artist and one half of celebrated duo Karenn – to say we’re fans of the young man from Yorkshire is a bit of an understatement with his output going from strength to strength since he first came to our attention with the ‘Bohla’ EP for seminal Belgian outpost R&S back in 2011.
Thus, any fresh material from Blawan is greeted with great excitement and we’ve been expecting big things from the techno don in 2015 after he launched a new imprint to release the majority of his future output. Named Ternesc after his London club night of the same name, the newly founded outlet will now release a second EP titled ‘Hanging Out the Birds’ following on from its inaugural release ‘Warm Tonal Touch’.
