Björk Unveils Second ‘Vulnicura’ Remix Package

Björk’s ‘Vulnicura’ was a surprisingly no holds barred insight into the contemporary outlook of the inimitable Icelandic in 2015. Showing that she’s still capable of producing captivating, spell binding music capable of stirring the senses and stimulating the mind, the album was a perfect blend of avant garde pop music and the experimental manipulations of machines as techno luminaries such Arca and The Haxan Cloak were drafted in on production duties. Regardless of what they were working on, all artists involved were sure to sew their signature sound into the fabric of each track in what fast because one of our favourite albums of the year so far.

With the ethos of their work in mind, it makes sense that Björk has selected a set of remixers whose sounds orbit the near regions of her latest work. The second remix EP adds reworks of album cuts History Of Touches, Lionsong and Mouth Mantra by Rabit, Untold and The Haxan Cloak to the four previous reinterpretations undertaken by  Lotic Katie GatelyMica Levi and Krampfhaft.

Out now on One Little Indian, you can stream all three remixes via Dazed here

01. History Of Touches (Rabit Naked Mix)
02. Lionsong (Choral Mix feat. Untold)
03. Mouth Mantra (The Haxan Cloak Mix)
