BE-AT.TV Acquires Ibiza Sonica Radio

Live video streaming platform BE-AT.TV has announced the acquisition of non-commercial Ibiza radio station Ibiza Sonica, a leading online and FM radio station based upon the White Isle.

Founded in 2006 by Igor Marijuan and Miguel Valverde to showcase the best of Ibiza’s vibrant music scene had to off, the station’s simultaneous Internet and FM broadcasts reached listeners around the globe. With over 10 million listeners per month, Ibiza Sonica’s exclusive content features a mix of the latest Ibiza tracks, international guest DJs and live on-location broadcasts from some of the biggest club and festival events. As part of the acquisition, Igor Marijuan and Miguel Valverde will continue their roles as joint managing directors although the station will moving to a new FM frequency, 92.4.

To commemorate the partnership, BE-AT.TV and Ibiza Sonica Radio are presenting a launch party on Saturday 27 June, outdoors, in Ibiza Town’s Old Port. The event is free, open to the public and will be broadcast live on BE-AT.TV and Ibiza Sonica as the likes of Dosem, Guy Gerber,, Matthias Tanzmann, Nic Fanciulli and Reboot take to the decks.
