We’ve long been fans of the very talented Axel Boman here at DT. Whether it be via his genre bending DJ sets or eclectic array of productions, the man from Stockholm never fails to make us smile and the dancefloor move. Following on from the excellent Europa EP on his own Studio Barnhus imprint his long awaited debut album entitled ‘Family Vacation’, the former fine art student has now unveiled a highly stylized video for album cut ‘Fantastic Piano’ crafted by The Treasure Factory.

The album which dropped  last week furthers Axel’s singular and off-kilter take on house music with the Swede explaining he has turned “a vast collection of ideas and sketches” taken from his computer into music that a friend describes as “weird Jamaican space disco”  into one coherent studio LP.

Check out the video to ‘Fantastic Piano’ below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
