Argot’s Fifth Release To Be Elizabeth Merrick-Jefferson

Following in our Detroit release related new Argot‘s fifth offering sees enigmatic lady Elizabeth Merrick-Jefferson stop lurking in the shadows of Detroit, and reveal her talent to the world with her three track debut record  “Urban Off Road”. Her muscular take on techno dashes across dance floors bearing a distinct tinge of vulnerability, courtesy of the  retro sounding bell infused melodies nestled between heartburning bass lines, brisk piano chords, and precisely arranged avalanches of vintage percussion.

Once this comes out  come April there will be no going back Elizabeth! Until then enjoy some sweet house courtesy of those cool cats down in Chicago that make up Argot Records…

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
