Alex Metric reveals ‘Heart Weighs A Ton’

Alex Metric has shared the video to his new single ‘Heart Weighs A Ton’, set for release October 12th via OWSLA/Atlantic.

Having already proved himself as one of the top remixers in the world – taking on tracks from the likes of Gorillaz, Depeche Mode, Ellie Goulding and N.E.R.D., plus forthcoming reworks for Laidback Luke, Etherwood and Friend Within – Metric continues to showcase his solo talents, with perhaps his most pop-infused number yet. Promising to be “unashamedly epic”, ‘Heart Weighs A Ton’ features the vocals of Stefan Storm alongside Metric’s huge synth lines.

The video is a truly heartwarming affair; it follows Glenn Bruno, an elderly man from California, who has devoted his life to dancing following the death of his wife. Check it out below:
